Night of Shock: Gunfire Erupts in Egger Highlands Neighborhood

The San Diego Police Department has launched an investigation following a disturbing incident on Saturday night, where two teenagers were discovered with gunshot wounds in the Egger Highlands neighborhood.
According to reports, officers from the San Diego Police Department swiftly responded to the sound of gunshots emanating from the 1800 block of Elm Street at approximately 9:15 p.m. this past Saturday. Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement found an 18-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound to her left leg. The victim, amidst a scattering crowd of juveniles, was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Fortunately, authorities indicate that her injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Later in the evening, another victim, a 17-year-old male, was discovered at a nearby medical facility with gunshot wounds to his shoulder, chest, and buttocks. Like the previous victim, his injuries are also deemed non-life-threatening, providing some relief amidst the gravity of the situation.
