About the Business
Arts for Learning San Diego (A4LSD) is the oldest and largest nonprofit in San Diego County dedicated solely to arts education. Their mission is to create a world where all students, families, and communities imagine, create, and thrive through the arts. Through performance assemblies, one-time workshops, artist residencies, and family/community arts nights, they integrate dance, music, theatre, visual arts, and literary arts into K-12 curriculum and beyond. A4LSD trains and commissions professional teaching artists to engage directly with diverse communities, helping young people develop self-confidence, critical thinking, teamwork, and creativity.
